Biodiesel Fuel from Fat?

I’m told that anybody can make biodiesel. It’s easy, they say, you can make it in your kitchen.
I can comprehend that biofuels are fuels made from biological ingredients instead of fossil fuels. I also understand that these starting ingredients can range from corn to soybeans.
I have absolutely no idea how this is done, there are plenty of scientific and technical matters that are beyond my ken, I just use the end result. Like lawn-mowers and coca cola. The manufacture of biofuel is merely another process that falls into the realm of unnecessary knowledge, but I hadn’t realised that you can make biofuel from animal fat.
I don’t know about you, but this gives me the willies. I read over at the Facility Blog, that people in England are keeping schoolchildren warm with kilowatts from carcasses.
But how do you get the animal fat? Liposuction? By the way, what happens to the human fat that’s sucked up in the countless vacuum- your- belly clinics across the globe?
Do they boil dead sheep in big vats? Are the English rendering down all those mad cows they shot?
I don’t think I want to know.
